Janahi is the Managing Director and Group CEO of Sanad. As a leading figure in the Aerospace sector, Mansoor is tasked with implementing Sanad’s mandate to foster Abu Dhabi’s long-term growth in the global aerospace and industrial sectors, as well as the delivery of the company’s industry-leading aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions for the global aerospace and aviation industries.

Janahi is also overseeing Sanad Aerotech and Sanad Powertech, a global provider of state of the art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions for jet engines and industrial turbines.

Known for their engineering excellence and uncompromising quality using innovative and hi-tech solutions with a global network of airlines and industrial companies spanning from Asia to South America.

Janahi has led Sanad Aerotech’s emergence as a global MRO player in recent years and secured over $7 billion since 2018 in long term commitments from global OEM’s including Rolls-Royce, General Electric and International Aero Engines.

Overseeing Sanad Powertech, the MRO solutions provider for gas turbine and rotating driven equipment in the energy and industrial sectors, Janahi also strengthened the partnership with leading industrial turbine OEMs including with Siemens for their industrial turbine fleets of Trent 60 engines in the UAE.

Prior to joining Sanad, Janahi served as a Senior Vice President at Mubadala’s UAE Investments. Janahi joined Mubadala in 2008 and steadily progressed through various positions leading key regional and global aerospace projects.

He played a pivotal role in finalizing agreements with Airbus and Boeing in 2013 and 2015 for developing aerospace manufacturing capabilities, as well as leading the development of a joint venture with Solvay S.A in 2017 and building the first advanced composite material production facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Janahi is currently a member of the board of SR-Technics Group and was a member of the Senior Management Board of the Aerospace Research and Innovation Center (ARIC) at the Khalifa University of Science and Technology. Janahi is a frequent speaker at global aerospace and industrial conferences and events.

Janahi holds two degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach - a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics, and a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration - in addition to a CFA level 1 qualification.
