UK-UAE Cancer Summit

We held our UK-UAE Cancer Summit in Dubai on 1st February, looking at new opportunities for collaboration in three specific areas: cancer screening and diagnostics, data sharing and privacy and palliative care. Thanks so much to all of our great speakers for sharing their insights on these themes, to our two Advisory Committee Members Lord Kakkar and HE Dr Maha Barakat for their mentorship, and to GSK, Cambridge Innovation Capital and Al Tamimi & Company for sponsoring the event.

Later this year we will produce a policy paper summarising the key discussion points from the event, and setting out recommendations for fostering closer collaboration between the UK and the UAE in Cancer Care.
