UK-UAE-ASEAN Roundtable

The UAE and the UK both recognise that there are significant commercial opportunities to be gained from the fast-growing and diverse markets of the ASEAN region. Many UK businesses operating in the UAE are using it as a springboard into ASEAN.

We are very grateful to the UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) and their Chairman Lord Ed Vaizey for briefing us on the region and to HM Trade Commissioner to the Middle East and Pakistan, Oliver Christian, for updating us on the UK-GCC Free Trade Agreement negotiations and on the UK's growing trade relationship with the ASEAN markets.
