On 6th June, at the Energy Exports Conference in Aberdeen, we hosted a panel discussion focussing on what the UK and the UAE can learn from each other in skills development.
Our speakers - from the UAE Embassy in London, TAQA, Petrofac, Xodus and the Energy Industries Council, concluded that communication, leadership, creativity and innovation skills will be of paramount importance, along with a bold and joined up skills policy framework connecting schools, governments and regulators and industry.
