Waste-to-Energy

The outcomes from CoP28, and our previous campaigns in Energy Transition and Decarbonisation of The Built Environment highlighted the importance of sustainability, and principles of the circular economy, focusing on reusing, recycling and reducing waste and its impact on the environment. We will be launching a campaign on Waste-To-Energy later this year to foster knowledge exchange and encourage new commercial collaboration between the UK and the UAE in this sector.

The campaign will consist of regular virtual meetings, followed by a Summit, and then a White Paper that will be submitted to both Governments in 2025. We will be writing to stakeholders shortly to invite them to participate in this campaign.
