We hosted a UK-UAE Cancer Summit on 1st February to coincide with Arab Health.

Our second COP28 event, the UK-UAE Decarbonisation of The Built Environment Summit will be held on 7th December.

As part of our COP28 programme, we will be hosting a seminar on private wealth and impact investment/sustainable investment.

We are delighted to be partnering with The Climate Hub at Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai Campus throughout CoP28.

Abu Dhabi Finance week will be taking place immediately before CoP28, from 27-30 November.

The University of Birmingham Conference on Sustainable Finance will take place in Dubai on 25 - 26 November.

We held a business briefing lunch and networking event in London on 31 October, where the focus of the discussion was UK-UAE trade flow. The Earl of Minto, Minister for Regulatory Reform, was our guest speaker. The event was held in partnership with FAB bank.

The 3rd Arab British Economic Summit will take place in London on 20 November.

ADIPEC, the world’s largest energy conference, will be taking place in Abu Dhabi from 2-5 October.

We will be hosting two major delegations to the UAE – representatives from Cambridge University and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Crown Agents, one of our member companies.

We are delighted to be hosting a Parliamentary Reception for our members at the House of Lords.

Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ) visited the UK in June and as part of their program, we organised a special round table and briefing session on cybersecurity opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.

It was a pleasure to meet Dubai Chamber of Commerce in London on 14 June and sign an MOU with them, confirming our support to the Chamber as it establishes its International Office in London.

We were delighted to host a panel discussion on Reskilling the Workforce for a Post-Carbon Energy Sector at the Energy Exports Conference in Aberdeen.

We were delighted to visit Dubai’s sister city, Dundee, on June 5th, at the invitation of Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, to meet local companies and brief them on business opportunities in the UAE.

The UAE-UK Business Council hosted a virtual briefing for members on CoP28 on 15 May.

We held our first joint event with the Saudi British Joint Business Council in London on 26 April
